Alexander Naistadt - Who Am I?

My name is Alexander Naistadt, though most people know me as “Ace.” I am a Chief of Staff and Management Consultant with over a decade of experience supporting C‑suite leaders and executive teams across high‑growth organizations. My background includes six years at KPMG and, most recently, Tata Consultancy Services, where I led cross‑functional teams in delivering strategic assessments, enterprise transformation programs, and executive decision support. Throughout my career, I have partnered closely with CEOs, CFOs, and senior leaders to shape strategy, modernize operations, and drive initiatives that accelerate growth, strengthen organizational performance, and enable long‑term value creation.

I began life in extraordinary circumstances—found in a box as a newborn on a riverbank in Shanghai with only a newspaper marking the time and date of birth. I was adopted by a biracial family and raised in New York City, an opportunity that fundamentally shaped my worldview and sense of responsibility.

That contrast—between the life I might have lived and the one I was fortunate to receive—drives my ambition, my work ethic, and my commitment to continuous growth. I am motivated to build meaningful skills, advance in my career, and contribute to the intersection of technology and business, where I believe real leverage and impact are created.

Above all, I aspire to reach a position where I can give back—paying forward the opportunities, support, and community that made my own journey possible.

My career began with a deep curiosity for technology and problem‑solving. As a child, I was the kid who took electronics apart to understand how they were built, researched how systems worked, and gravitated toward chess and puzzles for the challenge of thinking several moves ahead. That instinct to deconstruct, analyze, and improve things became the foundation of how I approach work today.

My passion for technology eventually pushed me to build something of my own. In 2005, as a freshman in high school, I used the savings from my first summer job to launch an eCommerce business. Running that venture taught me the fundamentals of business and the importance of trust and client relationships, that would later shape my professional path.

As the business grew and I refined the operations, I began offering IT and digital marketing consulting services, applying what I had learned to help others build and scale their online presence. 

That early entrepreneurial experience jumpstarted my career and set the trajectory for my work in technology, strategy, and transformation.

  • I trained for seven years under Sifu Shi Yan Ming, a Shaolin Kung Fu Master, and this motto was a constant part of our practice. Even though I no longer train formally, the principle has stayed with me. It serves as a reminder to push forward despite obstacles, to give my best effort in every pursuit, and to remain a lifelong learner. It reflects my belief in strengthening both mind and body to become the best version of oneself.
